One Simple Dress, Lots O' Different Looks

Same Simple, Purple Dress with Multiple Looks By Changing a Few Items!

Take one simple dress and create different looks by adding camisoles, sweaters, cardigan, wraps, etc.
This technique works well with a plain dress as adding different articles of clothing has the opportunity to create different styles without the office realizing that you duplicated the same dress in the same month.

*Change up your shoes to match the color of your sweater!

Avoid Black Leather

                A.  White Leather Skirt (Day)                        B. Black Leather Skirt (Night)

Avoid black leather skirts and pants. Black leather, although timeless, is extremely unprofessional and should be saved for a night out on the town no matter the length.

Other colors such as white (see above) and brown leather skirts, at the appropriate length, have the opportunity to give off a drastically different and much more professional look than black leather.

Buying a standard, black blazer will dress up any outfit. If you have comfy pants with an old collard shirt simply throw on the black blazer and you're ready for business in the boardroom.

* The blazer is also great for casual Friday with a t-shirt and pair of jeans.
